Quick Update About My Projects

It’s been awhile since I posted an article here on Creativebloggers, there’s been so much going on in my life the pasted few months it’s really hard to stay a float.

I won’t go in to details but if you’re a regular follower of this blog then you might have an idea on the events that have taken place over the past few months.

In order for me to keep a sound mind I’ve been working on a new website and service, to keep me busy and for the most part it has and I’ve been able to complete and launch my new website and service, RobGoss.com take a peek and let me know what you think.

I will be offering full WordPress website development and services customizations, a long with %100 support including any and all StudioPress child themes and the Genesis Framework..

I can’t say enough about StudioPress and the great work the whole team does its truly amazing and for that I’m a really big supporter in everyway possible. With the new releases of the HTML5 themes we can customize our custom themes like never before and it gets even better.

StudioPress has been working really hard with the Genesis frame with the latest update from 1.9.2 to 2.0, as well as updating all their custom themes from
XHTML to HTML5 markup capability.

The one thing I love about StudioPress products is the community surrounding it, they’re so amazing with all the knowledge they share  and tutorials they write because it make learning so much easier and using StudioPress products much more fun.

Here’s a very handy tool that will help you convert your old child themes XHTML over to HTML5 markup is just a few steps

This tool is provided by Cobltapps and will save you time updating the elements in your child theme, please read the directions carefully and the process should be quick and easy.

I want to thank you all for being such great supporters of this blog and hanging in here with me, I hope to continue updating this blog as much as I can. I will also be adding tutorials on my new Robgoss.com blog also so keep your eyes open.

  1. Hi Rob,

Always glad to hear from you! Hope the best for the future of all your new endeavors. Question, I haven’t converted yet to HTML 5 on the all my streamline themes so I was wondering— any tips to look out for that you learned on your way with converting this site? I’ve looked into using the Cobltapps method.

    Thanks Michael

  2. Hello Michael, nice to see ya, Well the Cobltapps method seems to work %90 for me when I converted my new Modern Portfolio Theme website http://www.robgoss.com.

I have not run into any problems whats so ever since I converted.

Here’s StudioPress comparison chart that should come in handy if you get stuck http://my.studiopress.com/docs/genesis-markup-comparison/

This current themes is not yet converted so I can’t really comment about the results yet.

I recommend setting up a demo subdomain account and installing WordPress. Then install your current theme and make any and all, changes to it and see how that goes.

Let me know how it works out for you, StudioPress releases a new HTML5 pro each week so keep your eyes open you might be in luck for the Streamline.

Thanks so much for stopping by my friend.

  3. Hi Rob,

I am so excited for you and your new venture!!! Atlas!!! This is more YOU. I know how passionate you are in web designs. And I couldn’t contain my excitement for you. I want to email you later and discuss business. But I will discuss further details in private.

BTW, I signed up on Mailchimp after receiving your newsletter. I heard that it’s free for life if you have under 20,000 subscriber. Am I correct? I have been paying $19.95 monthly on Aweber and I wanna cut down on my cost. Or maybe I will just go with how Andy Bailer does with his email, his is thru Amazon. It involves some kind of configuration which I’m willing to do if this is going to save me more money.

Anyway, I am so EXCITED for you!!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!

    • Hello Angela, thanks so much for the kind words it’s great doing what I love.

As far as I know Mailchimp it’s free for up to 2,000 subscribers which is not bad at all. I have not reach that limit so I guess I’m ok for now, they have made some cool changes to the interface much easier on the eyes.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for all the support with the new website. Have a great day
