How important is it to Display Leadership Online And Share Strategy Tips

You're AWESOME! for sharing my post? Thank you so much.

'Strategy' highlighted in green

How important it is to display leadership online and gain respect, this question is one of many that you should be asking your self.

Being an expert at what you do is a great thing and you should be very proud because that means you are passionate in your field.

The fact that we all consider our self’s leaders online in some shape or form, has yet to be answered, the reason I say this is because the majority of people don’t even
realize the impact they are having on the readers that they connect with online.

Are you one of those people that love to help and share your success and experiences with the people that visit your blog or websites?

If you’re trying to build an online business or a successful blog then this should apply to you, by sharing what works for you will surely be beneficial to others and will help them to achieve their online goals as well.

Knowledge is Power
and equals

“Success online”

Success comes in many forms, when most people think of success what do you think is the first thing that comes to mind? That’s right money.

But they’re much more valuable things besides money when it comes to online
activities, and leadership is at the top of the list.

Leadership will help you take control over how you conduct business online and build a foundation were people will trust your online activities and allow you to grow, that means more connections, leads, possibilities, and potential customers, which leads to good business strategy.

Don’t be afraid to share what works for you, your readers will thank you and be loyal and support your every move. Finding good readers is no easy task as I’m sure most of you already know, so treat each and everyone of them as if they were your only friend.

Blogging is no different

Blogging is no different because we all want to have a successful blog were people will flock to gain the knowledge and help us build readership and that’s what we all want right?

I run my blog like a business no different, it does not matter if you’re making money or not, you still need the support of other online figures to help your blog GROW and achieve your online goals

My point is this, you need to run your blog or website, like a business because it’s all about gaining and building leadership and respect, then people will trust your work and help support your goals which will open other doors.

Are you a leader? And do you have an impact on the
people that visit your blog or website.

  1. Great advice and tips, Robert! You’re right… it’s about the golden rule. Treating others how we ourselves want to be treated. The best way to improve is to gain more knowledge of who we are, what we like, what we don’t, what we want, and so forth. Know thyself, right. Thanks for the tips mate. Always a pleasure reading you. Cheers.

  2. That’s right, knowledge is power!! When you apply knowledge IRL (in real life), it becomes WISDOM. That’s where the real power comes!

Blogging is the tool we used to create QUALITY “network relationship” with our readers or followers. Whether you use your blog for money or just to grow…still comes the leadership. Like you said, “Leadership will help you take control over how you conduct business online and build a foundation were people will trust your online activities and allow you to grow, that means more connections, leads, possibilities, and potential customers, which leads to good business strategy.” This sounds like a SUCCESSFUL blog and that’s what I’m AIMING for. Absolutely YES!!!

And if I’m trying to build a successful online business, I should only concentrate on ONE blog, not 7 different ones! Took time for me to realize this until I talked to Adrienne Smith on the phone and read the “guest post” on her blog by Steve Scott. There is a possibily on making 6-figures income on just ONE blog, Steve is the living proof and THIS alone I’m going to follow. Forget the other marketers out there who talks merely but AIR. Now, I am very FOCUS on just my business blog. I feel I have a better grip on the ground.

    • Hello Angela having one blog gives you time to focus on the content at hand.

Having 7 blog’s is way to much for anyone because you’ll never find the time to write.

Thanks so much for your comment

  3. Hey Rob,

A wonderful topic to talk about and I’m sure many different opinions will come through mate :)

I really believe it doesn’t matter what your objectives are if you do things RIGHT Rob :) Even knowledge is need to use right, else it would be a disaster.

Though you say you are focused on business here, I don’t feel it that way ’cause you are on the personal level where people find it very interesting and will convert into loyal customers.

Leaders are true servants and lead people to success no matter what Rob :) They are among people. The thing is leaders expect less and work on who need their service. Act freely. It’s totally different when it comes to a manger, they looking for profits and count on each head. Also make sure not to reveal secrets but show smiling face for everyone ;) Sometimes I feel they are just stuck in their job profile.

However people find the difference through actions sooner or later. Mostly later as I’ve seen so far ;)

    Am I a leader? :D I’m a reader here ;)

Ah… I’ve checked your theme over at StudioPress and it’s Streamlined theme, right mate? :) I can see how you did customizations here as I did compare side by side. Keep ‘em coming mate ;)

    Cheers…

  4. I enjoyed reading your post, Rob.

Certainly agree with you that we are blogging to inform and share what we know as well as to connect and build relationships.

I noticed your quote “Knowledge is Power and equals Success online”.

We can never have enough knowledge! The true power, I believe, is in applying our knowledge.

You make a good point about sharing what works. I have also found it helpful when I read about someone’s experience when something that did not work for them and the lessons they learned. I have a few of those stories yet to tell!

Always good value for my time when visiting your blog.

It’s really amazing how much we learn online and are willing to share our knowledge with others. When we share our experiences it’s a way of helping someone else that might want to try what we have done, it can be a positive one or not depending on the out come.

Thank you so much for your comment it’s always a pleasure Jude to see you. Have a wonderful week.

  5. Hi Robert,

I totally agree with what you’re saying here.

Besides the money part, you need to treat your blog as your business “which it is” and not only care about the money it makes but the value it brings to your readers.

I know that personally I treat my blogs as such and I’m very picky about the content that I put there. I have my own set of rules and regulations that I apply to myself, so to speak.

    ~ Sylviane

    • Hello Sylviane nice to see you, our blog’s are very important to us because we spend so much time creating content.

There’s nothing wrong with running out blog’s like a business because it will prepared us for new things that may come our way.

Thanks so much for sharing your opition on this topic.

  6. Absolutely Robert!

You MUST be a leader in your niche or why on earth is anyone going to listen to you? It’s all about your posture isn’t it Robert? You don’t have to be THE leader in your niche, just one or steps ahead of your target market, right?

    Great article! – Thanks!

      Thank you for your comment.

  7. I particularly liked Robin’s point that you don’t have to be THE leader – just one or two steps ahead of the target market. There are some blogs I read that are SOOO complicated for me, even after I’ve been doing this quite a while now. My target market is very much at the beginner level, and I hope I write at a level for newcomers.

I try to make things as easy as possible for my readers to understand in hopes they will return and engages with me even more.

Being ahead in your niche is not a bad thing it just you reach out to others in a different way.

Have a wonderful day Joy it’s always a pleasure.

  8. Hi Rob,

Great Post and I agree with you 100%.

To Become A Leader, you need to be someone who has value, tools, and knowledge to give to solve the potential prospects’ problems. A Leader is somebody who possesses qualities that people admire and are attracted to.

A leader must be able to connect with those who follow him/her. He must understand that it is not about him, but about them. He must be confident and very sure of himself in dealing with people on a daily basis.

I agree with the point you mentioned to treat our blogs seriously as businesses to grow our readership and not as a hobby.

Thanks Rob for sharing such a valuable post.

  9. Hi Rob,
When you become a leader you guide and direct others who are searching. I am here to learn but more importantly to share what I learn.
When you teach you become more committed to the thing you are teaching. I don’t think you can be a leader or teacher without the passion to learn as much as you can about a subject.
I am online to do just that.
Thanks for a great blog post.
    Tonya

    • Hello Tonya nice to see you again. I agree with you leadership takes more comittment and dedication.

But also sharing what you’ve learned and passing it on to other will surely place you in a leadership position.

Thanks so much for your comment it’s always a pleasure.

  10. Oh my gosh Rob, I use to hear this all the time. Act like a leader and I so didn’t see that at all. Why would people listen to me, I was a nobody. There were so many more people out there that knew way more then I did.

You’re right though, share what you know and have learned and applied and your readers will appreciate the heck out of that. As you get results share those and they will continue to come back time after time to learn more.

You definitely have to treat them with respect though because without them your blog would be in nowhere land. Now that comes naturally for me because I’m just a big people person so I really do appreciate the people who visit my blog and I want to be friends with them all so treating them as such come second nature to me.

We are all leaders in our own way. If you can explain how to do something so that someone else understands it, you’re a leader. Take it and be proud of it.

Thanks for sharing this message today, I love it.

Hope you’re having a great week.

Yes the people that support you and are always there for you are the special one.

Sharing what we have learned with others is something I have been doing for years. I love it when someone ask me a question and I’m able to return with the answer they were looking for, it gives me a warm feeling knowing I just help someone.

Yes you’re correct we’re all leaders is some form and we grow each and everyday getting better and learning at alarming rate.

The web is an open book and if you’re not learning them that would surprise me very much.

  15. Hi Rob,

I totally agree with the points in your post. One way I like to look at a blog or website, is like a shop, which is online. In a real world shop we would do our best to make sure we treated visitors and customers with respect and were responsible for what they would find in the shop.

I use this same principle for my blog and website.

    • Hello Hiten, that’s is correct and the reason is because we’re interacting with people online and you have to treat them like you would a customer that just walk in your store and they will always respect you for that and return.

I take a lot of pride in what I do online because it means so much to me. But most of all I also cherish the good friends I have been making because it has shown me what’s truly important.

Thank you so much for stopping by it’s always great to get your input.

  16. We hear all the time “Give your best stuff away.”

I used to worry about that cuz I thought I might run out of “best stuff.” LOL

But then I was at Mike Koeings event last weekend and someone (I think it was Brendon Burchard) said.. “Give away your best stuff because the more you create the better you’ll get.” The idea being that you’ll have more to give and sell.

LOVE that concept! Do you agree?

  20. When I started I didn’t even think about that, until now. I think in the beginning, considering I didn’t know squat, that I wanted to pay my dues and learn what I could. I soaked up everything like a sponge, but I always forget a ton too.

After some time, I kept seeing the same questions over and over again, and people confused about something that is now simple to me. Then it hit me to figure out how I could offer a service where it appeals to certain audience and really help…not sale. The sale will come later, but when you give back, people get it.
