Increase Blog Comments, Gain More Traffic, Use The CommentLuv Plug-in

CommentLuv

CommentLuv, seems to be one most popular plug-ins use by most bloggers today, this simple yet effective plug-ins allows your readers to leave a link back to their recent post which is a good way for people to find your blog or website.

This can also be a great traffic source for you also while you increase more back links to your blog each time you leave a comment on someones blog or website.

I’ve seen a tremendous increase in not only comments, but traffic, also and that’s telling me it doing just what it’s suppose to. CommentLuv is a community of individuals who know how to engage and build, up readership.

This simple plug-in is very easy to install and configure and will be up and running in just a few minutes. Here’s what the setting look like after you have installed it.

Primary Settings:

The primary settings will help you determine  were you would like the CommentLuv application displayed just choose your desired settings and your done.

Permalink Setting

Appearance:

CommentLuv- is pretty straight forward and really easy to configure, the first settings you’ll see is how to display the CommentLuv button below each post that readers leave on your blog. There’re about 2 or 3, options you can choose from.

Appearance

Operational Settings:

The registered feature can help you increase your registrations for your website or blog. Allowing your visitors to sign-up for your website you can increase the growth and build readership. Also reward those who leave comments on your blog by allowing them to leaves a recent post linking back you their blog.

Messages:

What better way to show your readers how much you really care about them by sending them your own custom message thanking them for visiting your blog or website. You can also direct them on what are the best methods to connect with you.

      I LOVE CommentLuv! I don’t know if I’ve seen more traffic or not by using it but as the blog host, I love having a link to go to when I reader leaves a comment on my blog. It’s also great, if i visit a blog and see CommentLuv links, I’m more opt to click the link to visit that blog too. I simply love the plugin however not enough to pay for premium …. yet :)

      I just love it! And I’m so glad I got the premium last year on sale. It’s one of the few things I’ve paid for and it has been well worth it Rob. I agree my traffic for commenting has gone up since then.

      Hey Rob,

      Though I’m not on WordPress platform and using CommentLuv, it’s one of best choices of mine when it comes to commenting :) I can’t think of many blogs that missing this plugin and I’ve heard a lot of excellent feedback on it. Especially the premium version has lot of extras. Even it’s easy to install and manage, right? :)

      One thing I’ve heard of that spammers try commenting and create backlinks. Did you find more spammers stopping by and try to leave comments too? :)

      Frankly, I do not know why anybody wouldn’t have commentluv these days as it’s such an attractive commenting format, good for both the blogger and the reader. You’re got to love it right?

      I found your blog while reading Adrienne’s blog. It’s a pleaseure to be here.
      I do have CommentLuv Premium and it’s no doubt a great plugin. I have read many articles on this plugin but almost none of these brings out the settings with images the way you did on this post. I commend you for that.

      I love commentluv, but I recently disabled it because my site was having issues loading. I’d like re-activate it though. Is there anything that would cause commentluv to make your site slow? Do I need premium if I have too many comments?

        Hello Denise, I also love what the plug-in is capable of providing it’s users.
        Do you think your site is loading because of the CommentLuv plug-in? and if so after you disabled it was your website loading ok,

        Was there any other changes made to your website? this can happen for a number or reasons it can also be caused by the servers them self’s.

        I don’t really feel the premium version would change much as far as loading time it will surely give you more features.

      I’m a huge supporter of CommentLuv Premium Rob although it recently reeked havoc on my blog. But that’s what I love about Andy. As soon as you know what the issue is, send him an email and he’s right on it. If you also don’t understand some settings he’s eager to help as well.

      CommentLuv Premium is great for not only giving all your commenters some link love but it fabulous because you can knock out eight extra plug-ins that you’d normally have separately. Now that’s say a lot.

      Great post and I do hope that if you don’t already have CommentLuv Premium that upon Rob’s recommendation here you’ll get it. We love it.

      I have the plugin, and I love it! I’d purchase Premium if I had money to spend on things for fun/my site/etc. However, I don’t. Thus, for now I have the basic one. :) However, it seems to be all that I need right now. :p

      I don’t know if my traffic has increased with this plugin. Some of my visitors uncheck the CommentLuv box and don’t wish to have their entries linked, and then there are those that really like how I have it there. I do do a lot of blog hopping, which is probably why I cannot accurately determine whether it’s the plugin that helps my traffic and comments and such.

        Hello Liza thanks for stopping by, Yes the free version seems to do the job that’s for sure because you do see results shortly after you have installed it.

        As far as traffic is concern if your getting more people who comment on your blog, then I would say yes your traffic source has increased.

        Blog hopping is GREAT it’s the best way to meet and build your readership fast.

      Commentluv is really a great plugin not it gives a backlink facility but also it helps to promote your article.
      I find it really helpful as i can share my things with other bloggers and it gives me backlinks and as well as decent traffic to my blog.

      I use Commentluv and it’s great, the free version but may upgrade down the track. I will check which plugins it can replace and take that into account. As Adrienne said, if it can replace 8 plugins, it is surely worth it for that reason alone.

      If you do upgrade before me, I hope you will do a follow up post of your experience.

      I browsed your other posts and I will definitely come back later to read more of your work.

      You mentioned you are just starting to use Aweber. I’ve been using Aweber for 5 years, so if you need any help with it, don’t hesitate to ask.

      I have been on your blog for the first time and I really liked your WordPress theme.
      Coming on to your post, I would say commenluv has been a wonderful tool and it surely has helped in getting the traffic on to my blog. The feature that really rocks is the Post it points to while we leave the comment on the blog.

      I did that investment 2 months back and for this I’m not repenting for sure.

      The free version is pretty good but I still may upgrade to Premium since it is on special offer at the moment.

      I always like to comment on relevant CommentLuv enabled blog entries because I always have something to say already and know (or hope at least) I am adding something valuable.

      Love this plug in and don’t really want to leave a comment if it’s not in use. There are some other commenting platforms out there that are annoying in the way you are required to sign in. So it’s Commet Luv for me all the way!

      CommentLuv is probably my favourite WordPress plugin. It’s just so handy because as you say, we can just click on the link of the last post of the blogger who has just visited out blog, enabling us to check out the latest content right away.

      Great sharing! When I first started I knew nothing about blogging. Gradually I have a few very useful plugins installed. I must admit that CommentLuv has helped my to connect to so many more other bloggers!

      I love CommentLuv, and I definitely feel more comfortable commenting on sites that have it. Some sites have annoying things you have to sign into, and all that, but CommentLuv makes it easy, and I don’t see myself ever getting rid of it!

      I have met a lot of bloggers through their CommentLuv link, and I lot of them I probably wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t been on a blog (Adrienne Smith’s) and clicked through the CommentLuv.

      I came about this post while trying to research on whether or not to use CommentLuv. I actually went ahead and installed the free version plug-in today. I feel good about installing from all the good things that you have stated and also just looking at your comments’ section definitely gives me a positive feeling about installing it. I actually read some info from a post from Ilene who also left a comment. So, I can’t wait to see if it works out for me or not. But, it’s a free plugin and worth a try. I will hold off on paying for the newer version until I see the effects of the free one. Thanks for the information.

        Hello Sharon, CommentLuv is well worth a try because you will see results in no time. It works better if you also visit other blogs and leave your comments on their blogs as well.

        Blog hopping will not only help you gain readership, but you will also increase the comments and allow you to meet some great friends like my self :) j/k, no really.

        It’s fine using the free version until you see that it works for you, remember each time you visit someones blog and leave your comment your link will also be left behind and that will allow other bloggers to gain access to your blog.

        The most important element here is to engage.
