How-to Add Files to Your WordPress Media Library

The WordPress media library is a very handy feature to have because it allows you to store images you upload from your computer and add them to your very own image library so you can add them to your blog post if you desire.

Media library is the central location were all the image files you upload to your WordPress account are stored. You can manage all your image files right from your media library. The library also provides additional tools that will allow you to modify, crop, re-size your photos.

You can pick and choose which images you would like to use for your post and re-size them if needed. This is something every blogger should use because it’s a good way to make your post stand out from all the rest.

Simply click on the ( Add new ) tab at the top of your media library to start selecting  the images, videos, or files, you would like to upload. When you upload images using the WordPress library you can also re-size the images to fit your post content creating  just the look  for that particular post.

Re-positioning your images

After uploading your images you can then reposition the images any were with-in your blog post example left, right, center. You can choose the size or the images to fit that post.

In addition to also adding things like a titles, caption, and descriptions for that particular graphic.

You can edit any image you upload by placing your cursor over the bottom of the image file you will see a few options like edit, delete or view,  file.

After completing this process you can then add the chosen image and insert it into your blog post.
